GCFF enters the expansion period, gradually expanding the scale of activities and focusing on more investment areas. Conventions in Vancouver, Shanghai and Shenzhen attracted a large number of international investors, and the topics discussed covered a wide range of industries such as energy, mining, life sciences, etc., especially in the popular areas of rare earth resources and new energy etc. Since 2007, GCFF has landed in China, and attracted the participation of a large number of Chinese companies and overseas financial service providers. During this period, we invited Jim Rogers, the co-founder of Quantum Fund, David Hale, the famous global economist, Robert A. Mundell, the “father” of the euro and winner of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics, to participate in the GCFF. Edward C.Prescott, the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics in 2004, Robert J.Barro, the former vice president of the American Economic Association, ‘Dr. Doom’ Marc Faber, and many other famous economists gave a speech on China’s economy. GCFF has also played a key role in promoting the international financing of Chinese enterprises and become an important platform for domestic and foreign investors.
