About GCFF

GCFF is one of the major players in the North American-based bilingual financial forum community. Since 2000, we have hosted over 150 investment conferences and visited cities like Vancouver, Toronto, LA, San Francisco, NYC, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and HK. Our journey continues.

Organized by NAI Interactive Ltd., a leading North American financial market intelligence, GCFF is committed to continuing to search for good investment ideas and showcase them to the investment community. Our focus is growth.

While GCFF is built on a strong foundation and tradition, we will not stop looking into the future and what the investment landscape looks like in the times ahead. As the investing public gets younger, so will our approach. Our investment conferences and events will continue to expand virtually and in person, go to places we have not been before, and connect more with investors of all ages. Welcome to join us for the journey.

GCFF Development

Challenges and Transformation Phase (2020 to present)

With the outbreak of the global epidemic, GCFF quickly adapted to market changes and transformed into a virtual investment conference. The virtual investment conference breaks down geographical barriers and makes it easier for global investors to access the latest market dynamics and investment opportunities. In the context of the global bull market, the healthcare and tech sectors have been performing well, and the metals market has also seen a bull market, we help investors seize the opportunities through our virtual investment conference. At the same time, we continue to focus on the Asia-Pacific market and have successfully hosted several virtual mining and life sciences conferences in collaboration with the China University of Geosciences, Hong Kong Energy and Minerals United Associations, and Invest Hong Kong, which have been very well received. With the gradual recovery of the global economy, we welcomed our first in-person conference after the epidemic in September 2022. Further, we expanded to Toronto in 2023, adopting a dual-track strategy of virtual and in-person to expand our investment footprint.

To date, we have hosted over 150 investment conferences in North America and Greater China, with over 3,000 participating companies and an audience of over 70,000 investors. We will continue to provide a platform for investors and enterprises to help them move forward and create more value in the ever-changing market.

Innovation and Technology Phase (2016-2019)

Entering 2016, GCFF has focused more on the innovation and technology sector, especially on life sciences and high-tech investments. With the rise of the Greater Bay Area and Shanghai, GCFF's focus shifted to cutting-edge areas such as artificial intelligence, clean energy, and biotechnology. By deeply matching leading industry experts with investors, GCFF has successfully led the investment trend in related fields and helped Chinese and foreign companies seize the latest market opportunities. In 2019, GCFF celebrated its 20th anniversary, and the Vancouver and Toronto conventions held celebratory events to continue its important role in promoting the co-operation between Chinese and Western capital markets. During this period, a portion of sales proceeds were donated to the Richmond Hospital Foundation as part of giving back to the local community. In addition, GCFF celebrated the event's twentieth anniversary on 1 November 2019 with a market opening ceremony on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). A number of keynote speakers, representatives of exhibitors and members of the business community who have supported the event over the years attended this grand celebration.

Expansion stage (2007 - 2015)

GCFF enters the expansion period, gradually expanding the scale of activities and focusing on more investment areas. Conventions in Vancouver, Shanghai and Shenzhen attracted a large number of international investors, and the topics discussed covered a wide range of industries such as energy, mining, life sciences, etc., especially in the popular areas of rare earth resources and new energy etc. Since 2007, GCFF has landed in China, and attracted the participation of a large number of Chinese companies and overseas financial service providers. During this period, we invited Jim Rogers, the co-founder of Quantum Fund, David Hale, the famous global economist, Robert A. Mundell, the "father" of the euro and winner of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics, to participate in the GCFF. Edward C.Prescott, the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics in 2004, Robert J.Barro, the former vice president of the American Economic Association, ‘Dr. Doom’ Marc Faber, and many other famous economists gave a speech on China's economy. GCFF has also played a key role in promoting the international financing of Chinese enterprises and become an important platform for domestic and foreign investors.

Early stage (2000-2006)

Since 2000, NAI Interactive Ltd. has hosted GCFF (Global Chinese Financial Forum) in major North American cities, drawing strong interest from Chinese investors and support from the Canadian government. Since 2005, GCFF’s North American Financing Conference has connected Chinese companies with North American financial experts to explore financing and market opportunities. Each conference unites global financial institutions, offering insights into overseas markets. Many participating companies have successfully secured financing, gone public, and completed M&A deals through GCFF, leveraging the platform to drive capital operations, expand opportunities, and strengthen their industry position.
